[Buildbot-devel] How to trigger changes without actually commit anything in a SVN repository

I am not sure if this is possible; but I would like to trigger revisions so I can commit fake code changes and break my build; without in fact touching the real SVN repository (causing fire and brimstone falling from the sky).

I was looking at the manual but there is no way explicitly defined to check if the revision system and the blame/email alert system works, unless you commit something in the SVN repo and verify what happens.

An alternative that I had in mind was to create a local SVN repository on the buildbot machine and test everything creating a fake project...is this the quickest way to achieve what i wanna achieve? Otherwise how do you test that everything works fine without physically touch the code repository?

Suggestions are more than welcome :)

Thanks!
