[Buildbot-devel] proposed patch for GitPoller

Hi folks,

I have a proposed change to GitPoller

The changes are intended to reduce instances of a certain kind of failure that happens when there have been zero changes since the last polling event. The patch also changes a method so that it extracts the committers' email address (instead of their given name) from the commit information.

I can submit the patch through some other mechanism if that is appropriate, for example via trac?
