[Buildbot-devel] 0.8.3 target date

There's been a bit of discussion of whether we should make a new
Buildbot release for various bugs.

This is a topic that will be up for discussion at the Buildbot summit
on Dec 17, but even before that, I'd like to accelerate the release
pace, so I'm planning the 0.8.3 release for the first week of
December.

There are a number of outstanding projects in progress.  Off the top of my head:
 - sqlalchemy conversion;
 - repo support;
 - new virtualization plugins;
 - build coordination support; and
 - source steps using the repository specified in a sourcestamp.

If any of these can make it into 0.8.3, that would be great!  I'm open
to adjusting the 0.8.3 timeline somewhat to accommodate any of them,
although I don't want the date to slip beyond the summit.  Let me
know.
