Can you file a bug for this?

I assume that you have a lot of changes in your db.  the
changeEventGenerator in buildbot/db/connector.py is probably to blame
- it may be trying to load all of the changes into memory, which would
be bad.  Someone with some familiarity with the dbapi needs to look
into this.
