Yes, it did.  I unzipped the slave distro, ran "python setup.py install" from the expanded dir, found it in the scripts dir.  

This is an XP SP3 VM with python 2.6.  

Just a swag, but I avoid spaces in path names for other build issues in my windows environment, could they be an issue in your setup, say in your python path?
