[Buildbot-devel] My slaves are idle all the time, how do I make them do stuff?

Hi all,

First post, so please bare with me. I've set up my new buildbot system
(a master and two slaves), but thus far, I'm unable to make the slaves
actually do stuff.

Here's how I set up the slaves:

And here's the config I'm using on the master buildbot:

To be honest, I've probably got the configuration all wrong, but
here's what I want to do (some parts are obviously missing from the
config):

For each of:

 1. /trunk
 2. /branches/release-1.4.2
 3. /branches/release-1.4.3

Do the following:

By the way, the slaves will disconnect at 10PM GMT, and should
reappear at 10AM GMT (the VM host automatically shuts off at night).
