That feels ... wrong.  There has already been a buildbot-0.8.0
containing all that code with a particular package layout.  Releasing
another 0.8.0 tarball with a different package structure feels very
risky to me, even if the name on the tarball is different.

me: "But my code should work just fine -- it depends on BuildBot 0.8.0
and imports from buildbot.slave".

you: "Ahh, well, you see now, there's BuildBot 0.8.0 and then there's
BuildBot 0.8.0.  You can't depend on the first BuildBot 0.8.0, you
have to depend on the second BuildBot 0.8.0."
