Just as an aside to your issue, Thomas, but my Buildbot slaves
(0.7.10p1) fail out on startup using Python 2.6.4.  I've had to
standardize on 2.6.2 across my slaves for stability.  This may have been
addressed in later versions of Buildbot, however.
