[Buildbot-devel] Timeout for pending builds

Is anyone aware of a configuration that allows you to timeout pending builds?
I'm currently using trigger.Trigger(...) to spin off a build, but sometimes the machine is offline.
This seems to cause any subsequent actions, steps, triggers to become blocked, if you're running with waitForFinish=True

I'd love a way to have a pending build timeout, return a failure, and then be handled by the haltOnFailure setting.
