[Buildbot-devel] Changes.pck file is lost if the buildbot master loses power

BuildBot doesn't appear to write the changes.pck to disk until
shutdown.  If a failure occurs you lose all of the entries since the
previous clean shutdown.

Are there any reasons why flushing this file to disk every hour or so
wouldn't be a good idea?  With the possibility of only doing this if
there are any changes since the previous flush.
