[Buildbot-devel] How to discard some changes received via p4poller

Greetings,

In our perforce depot, many of the checkin's are unrelated to the
software product being built.  This lead so having a large number of
checkins show in the waterfall display which have nothing to do with
the build.

Can I indicate to the poller to completely ignore some checkins? Via
split_file? or other means?
I have specified a split_file as we have several branches we are building.
