Yeah, a fiber got cut in San Jose this morning and took out the colo in
which buildbot.net is living. (it also took out a lot of phone lines in
the area, apparently). It seems to be back, at least from where I'm
This is probably a good time to mention the work that we're doing to
move buildbot.net to a new home. It won't necessarily be better
connected than it has been (every colo has its bad days), but it should
be easier to give access out to multiple admins. (the Trac instance
currently lives on my personal host, in a very restrictive VM setup, and
the plan is to move it to a dedicated linode.com slice).
We're still trying to figure out how to migrate the Trac database to the
new box, in particular how to translate the Darcs revision identifiers
into Git-based ones. My hope is to switch over to the new host by the
end of the month.
