I'm happy to be overruled, but it sounds like a lot of work for
negligible actual benefit.  The folks running the buildmaster and the
buildslave have to trust one another, and that should include
notification of any changes that may impact a slave.  I can't see
making anything but minimal additions to buildbot to try to mediate
that trust relationship.
