Buildbot keeps logs of its execution, which step execution time is a 
part of.

I wouldn't recommend using this as metrics, in particular fine-grained 
metrics such as used during testing, though. Doing anything more is 
(typically) much easier to integrate into your own build system (where 
you can wrap test case execution, binary creation, etc.)
