I think I've solved it. See last two patches (as of 
http://buildbot.net/trac/ticket/187#comment:9). They probably need some 
cleanup, so feel free to improve. ;)

Dustin, perhaps a git-fork for this is good to iron out the final things 
(as youve done with some other bugs). I might've mungled things a bit as 
I have a few of Dustin Sailings other hg-patches already applied.
