[Buildbot-devel] Please Help configuring BuildBot

Hi All !

BuildBot gives very nice first impression. It seems that BuildBot is
kind of rival to Novell's openSUSE Build Service (OBS) - is it?

However I had real difficulties configuring it in the real world.

I would be glad if someone can help me with my simple setup:
I have setup master and slave on the same machine - my workstation -
so I connect using "localhost" address.

Host: openSUSE 10.3 Linux, 32-bit, buildbot 0.7.7

What I try to do: download kvm-userspace from "git" repository and
compile it. Preferably build RPM package right away.

What works: HTTP server - Waterfall is "browseble" and receives my commands.
Slave connected successfully to master and keepalives are received.

What doesn't work: The HTTP server does not forwards my commands sent
from wbe client (FireFox) to the actual "engine".
Commands are _not_ transfered between slave and master for mysterious reason.

Conceptual problem: I do not understand the difference between
builders and bots, even after reading documentation
is it a mystery.

Here I attached the master config and the slave config.
