[Buildbot-devel] Buildbot 1.0: The Shimmering Vision

My views:

We have multiple projects, multiple software deliverables, multiple
sources per software deliverables, and multiple build platforms per
software deliverables.

I would actually like to see:
* them all run by the 1 master
* some sort of external access control (who can view the status, the
logs, force builds) (not a proxy hack in apache...)
* node tracking - if a node goes down - how do I remember what machine
it actually was or who to ask to turn it back on? I have used/abused
'name' too much - we need a tiny bit more information for the slaves.
'platform' 'hostname' 'os' and a record of the last machine connected -
as its how you work out who to contact about bringing up the slave
again.
* web based config editor?

Just a few, based on the 'infinite supply of developer time and money'
assumption

Well, I posted my thoughts. What is your vision of what Buildbot
could be in a perfect world with an infinite supply of developer time
and money?
