Awesome! What a great patch!

Please add a ticket to the buildbot.net Trac, and attach the patch.. that'll
give me (and others) an easier place to post comments, and should help other
git users find the patch between now and the next release.

I'll try to take a look at the patch tomorrow and see if it can go in. From
your description, it sounds very promising.. you nailed all the bases (kudos
for writing both tests *and* docs!).
