[Buildbot-devel] Unexpected clobbering

Hi

I am experiencing problems with unexpected clobbering on cvs update steps.
The .buildbot-sourcedata file appears to be present and correct but I still
get clobbered.
Please could you explain to me every situation under which the CVS step
decides to do an non explicit clobber.
This is causing me a problem because the rm will fail on one of my modules
due to permissions.  This can be overcome by prefixing it with a sudo.  So,
I would like to understand when a clobber happens so that I can detect it
myself and do the sudo'd rm myself so that the CVS step will not fail.
