[Buildbot-devel] Retrying compile steps

I have a build that fails occasionally (and completely randomly) due to
segmentation faults in the compiler. Replacing the compiler isn't an option,
and I'd like to prevent build-broken emails from being sent out just because
the compiler segfaulted.

Ideally, what I'm looking for is the ability to try a compile step, examine
the stdio, and conditionally retry the compile step. Is there any existing
way in the buildbot framework to handle this?
