Indeed.  On the other hand if I had thought through things more
carefully, I might have sussed it earlier and not have to trouble
people.

It turns out that I had not cleaned out the port enough when
uninstalling and reinstalling, and so it had not actually recompiled on
installation.  When I did a full and total uninstall and install, the
correct recompilation happened and the problem went away.  I now have a
fully working Mac OS X build slave :-)

This has been great support, thanks muchly.

It is going to be a pleasure to use Buildbot as my example continuous
integration system on my training courses.  I am also using it to test
the Groovy native laucher (http://groovy.codehaus.org) -- I guess I
should add to the SuccessStories wiki page.
