[Buildbot-devel] Spam on list

I run the Entertrack project at SourceForge, and we have been overrun by
a similar set of messages.  Looking through the site support tickets, it
seems that the SF staff consider "tightening down the list controls" to
be the only way to solve this.

For the Entertrack list, I turned on holding of posts from
non-subscribers, as well as auto-expiry.  Now, as admin, I get notices
of held messages, but if they're from [random string]@[somewhere].jp,
then I just ignore them and they are automatically discarded.  The list
subscribers never see anything.

Thoughts on doing the same for this list?
