One problem may be that Twisted 2.4 has many problems with Python 2.5.  I don't
know if any of the failures you're seeing are due to this, but it wouldn't
surprise me if they were.  The jelly/exception failure in particular looks like
it might be because of the change to make all exceptions new-style in Python 
2.5.
