[Buildbot-devel] OpenWengo Code Camp participation proposal

Hello everyone,

I've already sent a similar e-mail to Brian personnally, but i don't think
it was sent to the list. I did not get any answer from Brian so far. I hope
he's well, i'm sending this e-mail to the list also so that i'm sure it does
not get accidentally trapped into any spam filter that Brian may have setup
:-).

After our application for Google Summer of Code has been rejected, we
decided to setup our own event, called OpenWengo Code Camp. It will start
pretty soon (probably tomorrow). During this event, we'd like to sponsor a
software development effort to enhance buildbot's functionnalities, and we
identified the SQL backend as a good candidate. However, i'm not sure it has
not been selected by Google Summer of Code, and it wouldn't make any sense
to duplicate some work.

Could you please tell me if you (Brian) or anyone else in the Buildbot
community would be willing to mentor one student to work on this feature, or
any other that would make sense?
