I just tried building buildbot-0.5.0 and got 8 errors and 2 skips when running 
the unit tests as described in the README.  I'm using Python 2.3.5a0 (from 
CVS), and Twisted 1.1.1 on a RedHat 9 Intel machine.

The errors were for:

buildbot.test.test_slavecommand
  SlaveCommandTestCase
    testShell1 ...                                                  [ERROR]
    testShell2 ...                                                  [ERROR]
    testShell3 ...                                                  [ERROR]
    testShell4 ...                                                  [ERROR]
    testShellZ ...                                                  [ERROR]

buildbot.test.test_web
  WebTest
    test_webPathname ...                                            [ERROR]
    test_webPathname_port ...                                       [ERROR]
    test_webPortnum ...                                             [ERROR]

The skips appear to be expected (given that CVSToys isn't installed).

Is this expected from this release?  I've not looked at buildbot before, but 
I'd like to get it set up reasonably soon for Zope 3.
