Comment (by krf):

 Just noticed that this is not reproducable for the (new) master-side Git
 step. There, ''git clone'' is used to initially checkout the repository,
 hence ''remote.origin.url'' is set properly.

 Not sure if it's worth to fix for the deprecated slave-side Git step. Feel
 free to close if not.
