Comment:

 I don't see much reason to use pegged-version URLs.  And showing the
 branch name in the status occurs in a number of places already.  And the
 master-side steps do not use `.buildbot-sourcedata`.  So I think this is
 somewhere between "fixed" and "wontfix"
