 jared, we're reaching that conclusion in
 https://github.com/buildbot/buildbot/pull/253 - but that's not the same
 issue as is addressed in this bug.  Here we're looking at the hard-coded
 `$builddir/source` directory, rather than the workdir (`$builddir/build`)
