#2002: fatal: Could not parse object ...
----------------------+-----------------------
Reporter:  dabrahams  |      Owner:
    Type:  defect     |     Status:  new
Priority:  major      |  Milestone:  undecided
 Version:  0.8.4p1    |   Keywords:  git
----------------------+-----------------------
 This problem with Git has occurred with other projects, e.g.
 [https://github.com/capistrano/capistrano/commit/15e9ed54d8b2db039fbe7dd76413ad92db40fb9a
 Capistrano] and
 [https://github.com/valodzka/chef/commit/e5ee68982a55adba6709f1f322a34a9e3863dc44
 Chef].

 The problem appears to be the {{{-t}}}
 [https://github.com/buildbot/buildbot/blob/master/slave/buildslave/commands/git.py#L149
 here], which is unfortunate... but it should be possible to fix this
 entirely on the master side by making the slave side run ordinary shell
 commands, shouldn't it?
