 OK, fixed one more tiny issue (newline at end of status messages).
 Tested on our own hg repository that periodically pulls in changes and
 uses the notify hooks to ping our buildbot. Both hg pull and hg pull -q
 work as expected now in both the sucessfull and failure cases.
