 It seems to me such a feature very much depends on how a particular
 project manages its tests. While I agree this would be useful, I don't
 think this belongs into buildbot itself. Perhaps an extensible "Test" step
 ?

 (I use a different approach in my own projects: I use a separate testing
 harness (QMTest), but run that from a custom !BuildStep, then generate a
 (HTML) test report which can be served by the buildbot webserver.)
