 Thanks -- this is a good point.  I'm not sure we can address the sha1
 issue (I think that's on Github, honestly), but we certainly should be
 recommending https.

 If you'll make a draft of a rewording of the documentation (under
 https://github.com/buildbot/buildbot/tree/master/master/docs) I or someone
 else will be happy to do some editing in the PR and we can get this
 merged.
