Comment:

 I think this would tie Buildbot in too many knots.  Django, for example,
 doesn't support editing Django apps in the browser.  But you can write a
 Django app that allows you to change its behavior via the browser -- you
 can even store and execute user-supplied Python if you want.

 Same with Buildbot.  This is something users can build if they want to,
 but not something Buildbot will support.
