 I have experimented and observed this behavior twice now, and reducing the
 amount of printing worked around the problem both times. I'm now seeing
 that this is not just stderr specific, but stdout has the same effect as
 well (I tried routing all stderr prints to stdout instead). Here is a log
 of one run where all stderr print was moved to stdout:
 http://clb.demon.fi:8112/builders/win-incoming/builds/833/steps/Tests-
 default/logs/stdio . Running the actual tests took 28861.564s, but
 buildbot hung when the test runner would print large bodies of text at the
 end of the run, and the final elapsed time of the build step was
 elapsedTime=119175.988000 seconds.
