 Having the sidebar slide in & out just by mousing over, while slick,
 doesn't feel particularly user-friendly.  Given how small it is,  I think
 the default should be the pinned mode.  When unpinned, it shouldn't slide
 in/out & instead let you access the pages just via the icons.
