Comment:

 Even if I agree SSL for all services is an absolute priority, having a SSO
 policy for our infra is I think something we should not give up upon.

 Buildbot nine already has support for Github openID authentication, and if
 I understand correctly, trac has plugin for openID. I'm not particularly
 fan of having to maintain a password for each and every site I use, and I
 would be happy to remove a password hash from buildbot harddrives.

 Also, requiring an account for posting bugs is preventing certain user to
 contribute via reporting.

 I think we can expect all contributors to have a github account, so, if I
 wont recommend requiring a google account, I think we can afford to
 require a github account in lieu of the trac.buildbot.net account.
