 I think I see what the problem is.  While there are lines that start with
 o, they
 also include ^M within those lines.  So displaying them will write
 gibberish.

 I'm wondering if this should be fixed during the actual log or should it
 be done
 during the log viewing?  (or is it even an issue since it's an 'edge'
 case.)
