 A note to prospective GSoC students: this is a *very* complex and vague
 project!  An application would need to have a lot of detailed design work
 already finished before we accepted it.  How would the configuration be
 stored?  What about configuration parameters that are callable?

 If you're not already familiar with Buildbot, this probably isn't a good
 project to look at.
