 This is one of those bugs that "leaks" between tests.  In the past, when
 this has started failing, it's been because a `Deferred` wasn't handled or
 a `stopService` method wasn't called or something like that.

 Could you reproduce it *reliably* on this underpowered machine?  How
 underpowered was it?  If so, I may try to 'git bisect' on such a system to
 figure out what changed.
