 I think I'm able to observe this with stdio (on master).

 Please indicate if I should better open a new issue for that.

 I've got a cppcheck step that sometimes catches the errors from the log,
 and sometimes not. The error line is:

 {{{
 [omp/omp.c:752]: (error) Possible null pointer dereference: report
 }}}

 And is happening at the seventh line from the bottom.

 Another indication that something is going wrong is that the last line of
 the log ({{{elapsedTime=2.966121}}}) is duplicated.

 Raising the priority.
