 I guess funfunctor was the first to try to actually process that logs in
 evaluateCommand.

 In eight, there is no such thing as closing the logfile at end of steps.
 The logfiles can be finished up after the end of the step. As they are
 written to disk in a separate file this is not a problem, the users sees
 the log in the UI as expected.
