Comment:

 This looks like a buildrequest with no sourcestamps, and you're right that
 it probably came from the rebuild button.

 This code has been rewritten in master, so the same bug probably doesn't
 exist there.  I've marked this as 0.8.x as it could be addressed on that
 branch.
