<div dir="ltr">Hi all,<div><br></div><div>I have been working those last few days on the tool originally written by Misha that is transitioning the trac tickets to Github issue system.</div><div><br></div><div>This will help us to get more reports from new users, and definitively counter the spam issues we have been plagued using trac.</div><div><br></div><div>Example of a transitioned issue: <a href="https://github.com/tardyp/buildbot_issues_sandbox/issues/156">https://github.com/tardyp/buildbot_issues_sandbox/issues/156</a><br></div><div><br></div><div>Only the open tickets which are raised after 2014 and are associated to nine milestones are selected.</div><div>The script has the capability to @mention people, and I have taken some efforts to map most of the trac users to github users</div><div>There are ~200 bugs to be transitionned, which will generate as many emails to the people mention </div><div>You will get email for each ticket that is transitioned into the new system (only for those you commented).</div><div><br></div><div>For the tests, I disabled those mentions to avoid spamming too much.</div><div><br></div><div>We will be discussing the transition on the next weekly meeting, and I will propose to execute it next week.</div><div><br></div><div>Regards,</div><div>Pierre</div></div>
