[Buildbot-devel] Metaconfiguration format

Hi All,
I'm just trying to sketch out our current (rather complicated) Buildbot
installation configuration to get a better handle on how to best use our
limited resources. Several of our machines do double or triple-duty, running
numerous slave configurations, some of them dual-booting.

It occurred to me that if I produce this information in a structured format
(e.g. GraphXML), it could be used by python-graph (or another library) to
aid in the automated configuration and control of our Buildbot network. It
might also be used by our C and C++ test applications themselves (so there
should preferably be a nice way to integrate this with those - libxml and
some glue code maybe).

I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions about what would be a
good format for this?
